WebCD Globe Build Wizard: Include Helper Applications on the WebCD

To make sure all of your WebCD content is viewable by the user, you may wish to install various helper applications. This dialog is displayed as part of the Build Wizard so you can select the appropriate applications prior to building your WebCD. Depending upon the types of files included on your WebCD, choose one or more of the helper applications listed below:

File Type Helper Application

PDF Adobe Acrobat^TM Reader

MOV Apple QuickTime^TM Movie Player

DCR Macromedia Shockwave^TM for Director (included by default if you are using the default WebCD Startup Page)

Before distributing any of these helper applications, you need to read and comply with the specific requirements for each helper application as listed in the MarkeScape Distribution Licensing Requirements specification.

Note If the end-user does not have a browser, or if their browser is not version 2.x or above of Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, WebCD Viewer will automatically install Microsoft« Internet Explorer 3.0 on Windows 95 systems or Windows 3.1 systems. If you do not wish to install Microsoft Internet Explorer under these circumstances, see Excluding Microsoft Internet Explorer from the WebCD.

Navigation Commands

Back
Accepts your choices and moves to the previous page in the Build Wizard.
Next
Accepts your choices and moves to the next page in the Build Wizard.
End
Accepts your choices and jumps to the last page in the Build Wizard. The default choices are automatically selected for all pages that were bypassed.
Cancel
Exits the Build Wizard without saving your changes.
Help
Displays the help text.
